SBAC Testing and Academic Achievement at Marguerite Hahn Elementary School
In accordance with the California Public Schools Accountability Act, the California Department of Education has implemented standardized tests to ensure compliance with curriculum guidelines and measure academic progress in California public schools.
Smarter Balance Assessment (SBAC)
Smarter Balance Assessment (SBAC) measures achievement on the California Achievement test, given each year to students in grades 3rd-5th grade students. These tests assess whether a school is meeting state educational goals and measures progress from year to year.
In 2017, we moved into the "green zone" for ELA and Math on the California Dashboard. We are so proud of our students achievements and we make sure to celebrate student success every chance we get.
